Hi everyone, I've been listening to Pop Evil & 30 Seconds to Mars?

Anybody like these groups? & what have you been listening to?

I've also been listening to Adam Lambert (but his cd is weaker than I thought). Of course the LOVEHAMMERS!!!!!! The Lovehammers are my favorite!!!!!!!

Also I've been listening to Eminem "Not Afraid". Heard it on the radio.

I have never heard of Pop Radio, whats their sound like? I have been a Mars fan for about 6 years. Jared Leto, Mars singer is my signiture here on the forum. They are incredable. I fell in love with their song "The Kill"...and the video! I had both their albums and really enjoyed every song. But the Kill is forever one of the most influencial songs for my life. I also love the song 'Echelon' and their cover of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. I actually have 'Mars' unofficail symbols for their band branded on the soft top of my car. So you can say I'm pretty dedicated! And then 'This is War' came out. 'Kings and Queens' is possably my favorite song for the last 8 months, the composition and mixing, and voices (Mars used fans sing a long type editing with the record)..it's a incredable song, gives me chills! My favorite album of 09. I love everytrack on that album, espicially Alibi, and Hurricane. It's one of my goals this year to see them play live.

As for what I have been listening too...My music background is Nirvana and Pink Floyd, so anything that branches from them. I go to Ohio State, so I'm surrounded by a heavy music Area. Our Local Heroes are Attack Attack, Devil Wears Prada, and House of heroes (whom I have all seen) I have seen over 300 bands perform and am familiar with over 1000 bands. I have thought about making this a career but got pulled in more of an artistic direction about 7 months ago.

I listen to LH and Metallica everyday...the day is not complete without them. I've been listening to Bring me the Horizon , Breathe Carolina, Children 183, Neon Trees, Paper Tongues, Bad City, Phoenix, AFI, and siversun pickups.

I like "The Kill" too, the song is really good, the video on youtube is good. The new song "Kings & Queens" is a hit! The video of it on youtube is good too.

"Pop Evil" are good. The song I like is "100 in a 55" there is a video on youtube. They have several other songs on there, another one I like is "Hero"

I mostly like Rock now. Use to listen to Prince all the time. The Lovehammers are my favorite band. I like to listen to different things & keep switching the station all the time if in the car.

Yes LH is one of my favorites, its hard to pick a leader LOL Prince is the shit! Went to see Neon Trees Last night....they are incredable performers!! Crazy...but very good! I really enjoyed one of their opening bands called EVALINE. Lots O potential their....may have enjoyed them more than Neon Trees. But all the bands were great!! So im listening to Evaline now!

Hey I saw Prince a long time ago in concert it was when he wore the trench coat before Purple Rain, it was a great show. He was never approachable though. Show was good though. Later when I saw a concert after Purple Rain the sound was bad, it may have been the venue.

I have been listening to the new song by Eminem, it is good. Don't know if you like him or not.

It's good you love music so much, it does add a lot to life & I really love seeing the Lovehammers perform, the energy is incredible.

Adam Lambert is on tour but don't know if we'll get to see him, the tickets are too high, & I think the show is sold out.

Have you been to any musicals? Do you like shows like that too?

Have you heard the "Frantic", they opened for the Lovehammers, they are good too.

Hey! Yes I almost saw the Frantic last year. They where opening for House of Heroes, but the show was cancelled

I do like musicals. I love the Green Day American Idiot Broadway Musical! I have that CD, and know Tony Vincent who play St. Jimmy! Sadly Its in NY

Adam was coming to Columbus, but it sold out quick. IDK if I would go though, I dont like Orianthi but Adam would be amazing to hear live!

I believe part of all our personalities, the way we look at people all correspond with the music we love. Good Music is getting harder and harder to come by I think. I mean MTV controls the Radio, which control the top 40 and myspace music. It's very overproceses and dead most of the time. I either reach wayyyy back to bands off the flower power days, or the GREAT 60's punk bands. Or I find the smallest low key venue and listen to all there indie regulars. It's a blessing I found Marty on television..of all places!

The greatest way to find bands is live, I saw Evaline Tuesday night, they were the first band to play I didnt know they would be so great. There singer has allot of passion, really feels what he is saying...that sells it for me. Heres a really good song by them

Hey again! I found another smaller awesome band. I went to the Westerville Fireworks with my brother (it was an ok) But I ran into one of the local greats.. well just their Singer/guitarist Nick, we got to talking and watched the fireworks togather.... Their EP is out next week..heres just ones song from it:

Sorry I didn't read this post for some reason I missed it. That band in your last post is really good, I like them. Right now I like some of the Eminem stuff, Cavo, Adam Lambert, LOVEHAMMERS, Pop Evil, & 30 Seconds to Mars. I like modern rock the most right now. Don't get to go to that many shows, would love to see Adam Lambert live though. The radio - not too good, they play songs over & over (because they are paid to) & finally I guess most people think they are good, don't know, don't like most of it. Of yea, there is Charlie Hall (I like him too). Music is so important because it can really connect with a person & their spirit. What you listening to this month?
