We are staying at the Hyatt but it will be a quick trip for us. We fly in NYE morning get in around 12:00 and leave the next morning at 10:30 because Susie has to work New Years Day. I really wish I could stick around longer for the BOJ show at HOB.

Well, my flight is booked (12/30 - 1/2) and as far as I know I'm staying at the Hyatt. Still working on that. Waiting to hear back from a couple people to decide who's rooming with who.
I would love to stay for BOJ, never seen them, but I already have plans set up for the weekend.

I am staying at the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare, in Rosemont, on River Rd and it is a 3 minute walk to the Hyatt. 0.17 mile away

We will be staying at the Holiday in at 5615 N Cumberland Ave in Chitown. Its the only hotel that we could use our reward points for a free room. We will have to take a cab, but hey...its a free room. Now to find directions to Giordano's....sounds yummo!!
Mapquest says 2.46 miles and 4 minutes. We are driving from Ohio so we'll have the car....I wonder if there is parking available for nonguest at the Hyatt?
who is having a post party in their room? I will bring the jack

Micki, last year we didn't stay at the Hyatt, but we were able to park there. I think it was about $20 though.

Yeah, it could happen.

Looks like a shopping trip to Nick's is in store for beverages too.

Thanks for the parking info! I think we are planning on taking a cab so we don't have to worry about driving. I have another question for you since you didn't stay there last year. Do they have a coat check? If not guess I will have to decide between freezing on the way there and back or dragging my coat around with me all nite. Thanks!!
