Hey Dino,
Just listened to your interview on Cara's Basement w/Marty and Bobby, and it got me wondering...is there any traction left in college radio, or is that format now useless due to MP3 players and music downloading?
For example, I know most of the public universities in VA have independent radio stations, and the student population of the 5 major universities there is over 100,000 people. Would it make sense to undertake a campaign similar to the stadium campaign you launched last year, but this time to take it to college campuses, where airtime might not be as difficult to secure?
Cheers,
Kirsten

college radio is a direction many bands and smaller labels go in order to test new songs etc. There are still Radio promoters that exist that handle this, and from what I know it is pretty affordable. Having fans do it and starting a campaign is possible, but would take a LOT of organization, etc...
I think someone should paint lovehammers.com on their bodies and streak or something. As a matter of fact, I think hammerheads across th World should do that. Sporting events, press conferences, red carpets, or just walking down the street. I think that would be a really cool thing and definitely something that hasn't happened in music yet.....
