I wish I could go, but alas, its the night before Thanksgiving and the night before my birthday, which just happens to fall on turkey day this year. its a big one, so if I didn't spend it with my mommy who gave birth to me, I'd be in a whole lot of trouble. LOL

Hey!!!! I was thinking that there must be Soup Kitchens or something that could use some help peeling potatos & dishing out dinner.
Maybe we can do that and maybe get some turkey & gravy at the same time?
I usually try to volunteer in my home town on Thanksgiving delivering meals to those who cant make it out of their homes.
Whatdoya think? Give back a little?

I mentioned it today, honestly I don't think the money is good right now for a chi-town trip, and I'm pretty sure Fred can't get off work. Hard to spend $$ AND take off work. Just didn't get enough planning time on this one...but my schedule's open
just in case. Flights were high though. I peeked today - $218 was the minimum! Not looking good for the home team.

I hear ya, esp when your mom is so old and you just never know which holiday and birthday is going to be their last. But I could always just take an early flight on the 21st as long as I get there by 6pm and then just stay 2 days and fly home Friday and have Thanksgiving Friday or Saturday.
I would do that just to see the LH's again but more important the hammerheads that I have not seen in ages. *sniffs*
There will be alot of us there in spirit. If your like me, you are YEARNING for a show. I am in the middle of Rockstar: INXS again and they are down to 5, this show brings back so many memories, I forgot about how emotional elimination night was, when deanna went home there was not a dry eye in the house....even marty was teary eyed.....and j.d., what an asshole, i forgot what an asshole he was on that show. he trashed the other contestants daily.
Take Care

I just got a newsletter from Stonecutter Records that said there were a limited number of premium packages available.
Release Party Package /Includes.. Ticket+CD/DVD+VIP Pass+T Shirt
[act_rpp_001] $50.00
This Package includes
- Acoustic Chicago Release Party Ticket
- A copy of the Acoustic Chicago CD/DVD
- An Acoustic Chicago T Shirt
- An all access VIP Pass to The Release party
*print your transaction receipt and bring it to the show as it will serve as a ticket voucher. you will also be able to pick up your CD/DVD, T Shirt, and VIP PASS at the show.
This kind of pisses me off since we've already bought tickets. I wonder what the VIP pass is for? I have already bought the ticket and the cd/dvd so is it worth paying another $50 for it? What are you guys going to do?

What's up dudes,
I've been reading this thread and it's cool to see how so many of you are willing to fly in to Chicago for the show.
Obviously, family is more important than a rock show, unless you hate your family. Hotels and airfare can put a dent in your wallet, unless you are rich. And finally, you can freeze in Chicago in November, unless you have a place to stay, which leads me to my next topic. Where are WE all staying??

WOW Bob!!! That is a good question. KB, SJJO...where are we staying? I've missed that information. *grin*
Bob...do you know the answer to Stephanie333's question in regards to the VIP package? Thanks for the help.
