Hi Everyone !!!

I know everyone would love to  be able to request a songs, but we will only have a limited amount of time  for music to be played.

The cruise is 3 hrs... the band is playing 90 minutes or possibly longer.

This leaves about 1- 2 hrs possible DJ time.. Figuring an average song is about 3 minutes, this would mean we will get to hear about 30-40 songs.

I am truly sorry, but in all fairness  to everyone, (and so Duane can keep things playing smoothly), we will not be taking request or Cd's the night of the show.

I'm with you Lv2 -- I don't  care what the DJ plays.  It could be opera.  All I know is I'm going to see LH AND get to meet some awesome people.

I love all kinds of music, so I know it will be GREAT whatever our DJ plays.

I want to apologize for any misunderstandings I caused. I didn't mean to suggest we should be making request that night and the DJ then trying to find that song or people bringing CDs they want played.  :shock:  

What I meant to suggest was, if the DJ wanted to start a thread for song request, when he starts gathering his stuff to take he could have a variety of songs in mind to take, if it was possible. No guarntees, just suggestions for variety's sake. I am fine with listening to whatever he decides is right for the occassion. Like everyone else I am there to hear the Lovehammers and spend time with my dear friends and the friends that I haven't met yet.  :D

Hi sweetie... oh no, it wasn't meant towards your post.... Duane had been getting many request about song selections, people bringing C'ds to be played, ect.

I truly wish we could take request, and was trying to figure out a way to do this. If we had more time , we might have been able to make it happen, but since we have a limited amount of time it would be hard to do request that night.

Thanks Cyber that's good, I sure wouldn't want to make things any harder on our DJ. I know he is gonna do a fantastic job of keeping us rockin'. And thanks again to HH for doing this.

I am confident the entire evening is going to be amazing!

Well, I suppose that there are possibilities for after the show in the wee hours of Sunday AM although planning on driving back home on Sunday.

Now if the Hiatt has some meeting/banquet/whatever-they-want-to-call-them rooms that someone could reserve one of, size depending upon how many people might attend...........AND, they don't mind a little noise in said room(s) perhaps said someone could organize a get together and IFF HH doesn't suffer from vehicular malfunction or just plain late arrival    why anything *might* be possible.    I do have a limited amount of vehicular space even WITH the back seats out of my van, so there's no way I can drag along the whole rig.  However, an amp and possibly a pair of speakers could possibly come along and HH might even be persuaded to spin a few CD's and even lead a little impromptu Lovehammers singalong............maybe............as I suspect that a couple of "stowaway" guitars may hide themselves in said van.  I don't "know" the whole LH catalog, just a few songs I've been playing with, but if everyone is well lubricated enough that they don't care if it ain't perfect why it could be some fun.
