I'm just windering if any one knows anything on whether or not the INXS 2/12 concert  at Avery Fisher Hall will be re-scheduled and will LH join them?

Does any one have an idea on how to find out.  The INXS board and Lincoln center haven't been helpful.

I have been searching the net on this all day, cant find a thing ??? I dont have tickets for this show but I am looking - so if anyone has tickets that they want to sell Please let me know

There's some fan chitchat on the INXS board that says it's either going to be May 12 or May 13, but apparently Yo-Yo Ma is performing at Avery Fisher those two nights, so I don't know if this is "real" information. And of course, no word about who will be opening for them.

This is getting really frustrating, doncha think?

Yo-Yo Ma ... he's a classical cellist, and I checked; he is definitely playing at Avery Fisher on 5/12 and 5/13, so the rumor that INXS will be playing one of those dates is false.

Hey!  This lack of news is making me bitter :x !  My feelings for INXS are plummeting.  We were fans back in the day.  My feelings for LH is now an obsession.  I would so rather see Yo YO Ma than INXS without LH.  I'm even proud to admit I even own a YoYo Ma CD.

sosilly, have you checked out the martcasey.org website? You'll find a lot of other totally obsessed LH fans over there!

Since we haven't heard anything, maybe it's time to get proactive about this!

Right now there is no info. That's the problem.

From over at Mc.org, apparently Billy responded to a pm he received from a fan and said that LH will NOT be opening for INXS when they reschedule the 2/12 show, but that they will be back in NY soon. I'm frustrated because I have 2nd row, dead center seats ... I don't see any reason to go now.

At least you got to go on the 13th-didn't you ? I think we met that night??? I was in such a Marty-blur that I'm not sure.  
Even so...2nd row center- I would be devastated. And I wouldn't go either.  Maybe you can sell them to an INXS fan & use the $ for LH tickets.

Yes, fortunately I went on the 13th and we did meet! But those were balcony seats, and I was really looking forward to Marty climbing all over me LOL ... it's very disappointing, but I guess I can find someone who will want the seats.

I'm so sorry Wendy...that really sucks.  :cry:  I would be disappointed as well.

I'm taking comfort in two things. One, it was the INXS opener and not the CBGB's headliner that I missed. And two, I have a feeling that LH's next visit to NY will probably be for something more meaty than a 40-minute warmup set.

So I can't say it's all good for me, but I can say it could've been a lot worse!

Hi I am new here.  I post over at ROCKBAND.Com.  I know that there would be a lot of people that would love to buy tickets from anyone that doesn't want to go to the NY show when it is rescheduled.  I hope that the information is wrong and that The Lovehammers are still opening for them. Unless it is for a day that they are performing somewhere else.  If that is the case I hope they can reschedule it for when The Lovehammers aren't busy. I love watching them perform.  I would even be interested in the tickets if anyone decides not to go for any reason. You can send me an email or PM is anyone is interested in selling their tickets.  Like I said though I hope the info is wrong and that you guys can still go to the concert.

You NY ticketholders may get lucky.  Sounds like you may get to see LH for a full show soon & without the JD.  You can return your INXS ticket to wherever you got it for a refund.
